PREP & INJECTION GUIDE
This guide was created to help beginners understand the basics of peptide preparation, storage, reconstitution, and injections.
Always research thoroughly and practice proper hygiene when handling peptides.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PEPTIDE STORAGE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Peptides are sensitive compounds and should be stored properly to maintain stability and effectiveness.
Important storage factors:
• Heat may reduce peptide stability
• Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles
• Moisture exposure may damage peptides
• Keep peptides away from direct sunlight
• Avoid dropping or shaking vials aggressively
Storage tips:
• Store peptides in a cool, dark place
• Use airtight containers when possible
• Refrigerate or freeze depending on long-term storage needs
• Keep peptides away from refrigerator doors to reduce temperature fluctuations
General storage guidelines:
• Reconstituted peptides are commonly refrigerated
• Lyophilized (powder) peptides may be refrigerated or frozen
• Long-term storage is best done in the freezer

SUPPLIES NEEDED
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Basic supplies:
• Alcohol prep pads
• Bacteriostatic water (BAC water)
• Insulin syringes
• Peptide vial
Optional supplies:
• Reconstitution syringe
• Storage container
• Extra sterile needles
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
SYRINGE BASICS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
30-unit syringe (.3mL)
• Best for very small doses
• Easier for accurate single-unit dosing
50-unit syringe (.5mL)
• Good for moderate doses
• Also suitable for smaller unit measurements
100-unit syringe (1mL)
• Common for larger doses
• Less accurate for tiny single-unit measurements
Needle Gauge:
• Higher gauge number = thinner needle
• Most peptide syringes range from 29G to 31G
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
RECONSTITUTION GUIDE
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Reconstitution means mixing peptide powder with bacteriostatic water.
Basic steps:
Clean the tops of both vials using alcohol pads
Draw the required amount of BAC water into the syringe
Slowly inject the BAC water into the peptide vial
Do not shake aggressively
Gently roll the vial between your hands until dissolved
Allow the peptide to fully settle before use
Once mixed:
• Store according to peptide guidelines
• Refrigerate after reconstitution unless otherwise stated
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
SUBCUTANEOUS INJECTION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Subcutaneous injections are placed into the fat layer beneath the skin.
Common injection areas:
• Abdomen
• Thigh
• Upper arm
Basic steps:
Clean the vial top with alcohol
Draw the required dose into syringe
Clean injection area
Gently pinch the skin
Insert needle into fat layer
Slowly inject peptide
Remove and safely dispose syringe
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
INTRAMUSCULAR INJECTION
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Intramuscular injections are placed directly into muscle tissue.
Common injection areas:
• Glute
• Shoulder
• Thigh
Basic steps:
Clean vial top
Draw dose into syringe
Clean injection area
Insert needle into muscle quickly and steadily
Slowly inject peptide
Remove and safely dispose syringe
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
IMPORTANT REMINDERS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
• Always use sterile supplies
• Never share needles or syringes
• Double check your dosage calculations
• Store peptides properly
• Research every peptide thoroughly before use
